Random Vandals Racing Expands GT4 America Program with Third Entry at Barber Motorsports Park

Random Vandals expands GT4 America Program

Josh Green and Sam Craven to Pilot New #94 Pro-Am Entry; Mike Kanisczak to Substitute for Paul Sparta in #98 For Remainder of Season

Concord, NC – Random Vandals Racing (RVR) is excited to announce an expansion of its GT4 America program with the addition of a third entry for the upcoming event at Barber Motorsports Park. The new #94 BMW M4 GT4 will compete in the Pro-Am category, driven by Josh Green and Sam Craven. Additionally, RVR is pleased to confirm that Mike Kanisczak will substitute for Paul Sparta in the #98 car for the remainder of the GT4 America season following Paul’s injury during the recent Road America race. Kanisczak, who has been a valuable driver for RVR in World Racing League (WRL) and NASA competition, will co-drive the #98 with Kris Wilson.

Josh Green and Sam Craven will team up in the newly introduced #94 Pro-Am entry. Craven has a strong history with Random Vandals Racing, having driven with the team in WRL for the past few years. Green, a former IndyNXT driver, joined RVR for a test earlier this year at Virginia International Raceway. He brings fresh talent and enthusiasm to the team. Their combination of experience and potential is expected to be a strong addition to RVR’s lineup as the team continues to build momentum in the GT4 America series.

In addition to the new entry, RVR is also adjusting its existing lineup. Mike Kanisczak will step in as the driver of the #98 BMW M4 GT4, filling in for Paul Sparta, who is recovering from an injury sustained during the Road America race. The #98 car currently leads the GT4 America AM championship, and Kanisczak, along with co-driver Kris Wilson, is expected to continue the team’s pursuit of the title in the highly competitive series.

“First of all, I am very grateful to Mike Kanisczak for jumping in for me at short notice. He’s a team favorite and it’s always a pleasure to work with him,” said Paul Sparta, RVR Team Principal. “Josh spent the entire VIR weekend with the team, and we think he will be a perfect fit. He has a great attitude, and his driving will speak for itself. Sam gets his first pro race start at Barber, and given our club experience with Sam, he’ll be right on pace. Can’t wait to see what these two can do!”

Josh Green shared his enthusiasm: “I can’t wait to get started at Barber with Random Vandals Racing! I’m so thankful to Paul and the whole team for plugging me in for this event and I wholeheartedly believe Sam and I can bring something to the Pro-Am table. Ready to get stuck in and see where we stand!”

“Competing at this level has been a childhood dream of mine for as long as I can remember,” said Sam Craven. “In college I was a driver and team member with Texas A&M FSAE program and worked as a traveling race car mechanic on Star Mazda and Ferrari Challenge cars just so I could be close to the action since I couldn’t afford to race. In fact, I got a student loan in college so I could buy a Spec Miata and compete regionally. So, having my whole family with me this weekend with the RVR crew is pretty special.”

“Firstly, thoughts go out to Paul and his recovery – I know how much he loves to be in the car.  Him and Kris have had a stellar season and the effort the entire team put in deserves to be finished,” said Mike Kanisczak. “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity and aiming to do just that – help claim the championship for every single raccoon on the team.”

With the addition of the #94 entry, driver lineup change for the #98, plus the #99 Vbrick Systems BMW M4 GT3 and #97 GT4 America Silver entry, Random Vandals Racing is poised for a strong showing in the final two rounds of the SRO America season.
