Experienced club endurance driver Jessica Tracy will run RVR’s BMW M2 CS Racing in first year of pro racing in TCX category
Wednesday, December 8, 2021, Bridgewater, NJ.
Jessica Tracy has today been announced, as the newest driver of Random Vandals Racing’s new BMW M2 CS. Jessica, an experienced and fiercely competitive club endurance racer, will be racing with RVR in several events in 2022. Including making her pro racing debut in SRO TC America in the TCX category at Virginia International Raceway on June 17, 2022.
Jessica, a 39-year-old native of New York, started racing a little later than most. It wasn’t until 2015, after having her two children that she competed in her first race. She, along with her husband Justin, run a variety of cars in both club and endurance events. Together, they have also created their own successful endurance race team, Team AF, managing and driving a variety of race winning cars.
“I have raced with and against Jessica for a few years now in endurance racing. She is quick, aggressive, and full of a contagious joy when racing. As friends, I have been hoping for quite a while that we would get to partner, and now I can’t wait to see what she does in the Random Vandals’ M2,” said RVR Team Principal Paul Sparta. “I know she’s going to be quick and a great fit within the team.”
Prior to the start of the TC America season, Jessica will make her debut with Random Vandals this February 18-20 at famed Road Atlanta with the American Endurance Racing (AER) series in a BMW M2 CS racing with co-drivers Drew Wikstrom, and young Irish karting talent Alyx Coby. The event is comprised of two eight-hour races, one each on Saturday and Sunday with practice and qualifying Friday.
“If you had told me ten years ago, when I was in the thick of toddler tantrums and parenting exhaustion that I was going to drive in a pro motorsports race, I would have passed out from laughter. However, the day I turned my first lap, I just knew in my heart, that I had a difficult new goal to chase. I am honored and extremely grateful that Paul and the Random Vandals believe in my driving ability and are giving me the opportunity to achieve this dream with SRO. I couldn’t be more excited.”
