ST Racing by Random Vandals Racing Unveils 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge GS Entry

Samantha Tan and Bill Auberlen to drive for the full IMSA season
Concord, NC — ST Racing by Random Vandals announces its entry into the 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge GS class with a formidable driver lineup of BMW M Motorsport Global Ambassador Samantha Tan and BMW M Motorsport factory driver Bill Auberlen in the #38 BMW M4 GT4 EVO GS car. This collaboration merges the strengths of ST Racing with the engineering and competition platform of Random Vandals Racing, creating a unique powerhouse operation for the upcoming season.
Tan, who has demonstrated exceptional pace and race craft throughout her career, joins legendary sports car veteran Bill Auberlen — the most winning driver in IMSA history. Their pairing establishes a strong foundation for consistent performance and leadership within the GS field.
“The collaboration between ST Racing and Random Vandals is going to be great fun,” said Random Vandals Team Principal, Paul Sparta. “It already feels like we’ve been working together for a while, and I have full confidence that Sam and Bill will be on it immediately fighting for podiums and wins.”
“I’m incredibly excited to step into the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge GS class for the 2026 season,” said Samantha Tan. “It’s one of the most competitive GT4 championships in North America, and it feels like the right challenge at this point in my career. Being able to share the car with Bill Auberlen makes this opportunity even more special — he’s a true BMW legend and having the chance to learn from his experience while pushing together at the front is something I’m really looking forward to. With the combined strength of ST Racing and Random Vandals Racing, I’m confident we have everything we need to fight for strong results throughout the season.”
“I’m really excited to be heading back to IMSA in the Michelin pilot cup with Sam,” said Bill Auberlen. “We have the team, engineer, and obviously an amazing car in the BMW M4 GT4, not to mention my teammate, Sam Tan. She is young, hungry and quick. The roar can’t come quick enough for me.”
The ST Racing by RVR GS entry will participate in the full Michelin Pilot Challenge schedule, targeting class victories and strong championship positioning with top-tier engineering support and an experienced pit crew.
